The Chronicles

Since I bought Balqis (my beloved camera) I had never utilized the pictures taken. Most of my pictures revolve around nature. Beautiful Mother Nature. Some where pictures taken around Putrajaya where I personally think nature could also blend in with the rapid modernization of Malaysia. I also took pictures of my close friends and family whom I had loved so much. Without my friends and my family I would not able to survive here in Shah Alam.

Nak sambung cerita tentang gambar-gambar yang aku amik, there is still lots more to learn. Aku baru sedar yang sebenarnye, it is not as easy as it looks. Here I would like to share some of my favorites and I will (InsyaAllah) continue to publish some of the great pictures that I took during the chronicles of the pictures.

During hari raya was one of my favorite moments. During this time I could see the light in the faces of every Muslim. My hometown, Tangkak, still holds the traditions of cooking the ketupat in a huge metal periuk. According to my father, one of the reasons why traditional foods were much more delicious back then was because they were cooked on wood stoves. The dust from the wood and the fumes created blended with the food adding additional ingredient to the foods making them much more delicious. I think it is true. But although the tradition is slowly fading away, many still practiced the tradition. This was not only because it is much easier to do but also mend the ties between the family members.

One of pictures that I took was a picture of my beloved grandparents. The picture was taken right after a small Tahlil during the hari raya. From their faces I could see the love they had for each other although not said through words. Let this be a proof to us all that true love is not a myth. To reach this point many sacrifices had to be made.

The next picture was taken behind PUSPANITA building in Putrajaya. Mind you it has this eerie feeling. The picture was taken during dusk near to maghrib. Around the lake behind the building were many kekabu trees. According to legends, puntianak or vampires loves to stay on this kind of tree waiting for their victims. I took a picture of the trees but the pictures mysteriously dissapeared from my camera. Instead i took this picture as proof of Allah's devine powers.

This is the first time for me writing a blog. So i am truly sorry if it does not meet the standards of actual blog writing. I am only human trying something new for a change. Please give me your comment to help me improve my writing skills.
